You'd like it folded in half with two stitches to make an 8.5x11 booklet. The first page will be colour and the insides will be in black ink. Offset Press
Very simply - a cold process that presses ink on to paper or wide range of other materials. Ideal for long runs, few originals, letterheads...

1. Now imagine you have the same book. Your market or your audience is bigger. You need 2,500 books. This calls for a different solution. The same file you created can be printed on an offset press. The preparation and the printing is measured in days rather than hours. The overall cost is higher but the unit cost goes down.

2. Or, imagine your newsletter has grown into a magazine with a large circulation e.g. 5,000 prints. You may be charging a subscription. Once again this is an ideal solution for an offset press that can print higher volumes at lower cost.

1. Imagine 1-5 gloriously-coloured poster 36x72 inches for a show, or a photograph you took on your holiday. Large format printers, also called plotters, are ideal for reproducing your work for display in public or at home.

1. This format is used primarily for architectural and engineering drawings. They can be printed singly or in sets. It can also be used for posters or banners.
